First Person: Why I Oppose Minnesota’s Marriage Amendment

On Nov. 6, 2012, Minnesotans will vote on whether to change our state’s constitution to limit marriage to one man/one woman. As a Christian and Lutheran pastor, I strongly oppose this effort. This video is in ASL and offered for Minnesota’s deaf community to consider.

Did you know?  According to Wikipedia, LGBT rights in Israel are considered the most progressive in the Middle East and Asia.  LGBT people are allowed to serve openly in the military and while Israel does not allow same-sex marriages to be performed in the country, it does recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere.  Learn more about some of the rights and current struggles of our Queer Israeli brothers and sisters.
